September 9 - Granada

Got the Busabout tour to the south of Spain. Our first stop was Toledo where we walked around the city, and every second shop was a sword shop or a marzipan shop! Then it was onto Consuegra which was Don Quixote windmill country.

After that we gotinto Granada which was in these really pretty hills. The view at night was awesome (but my flash was crappy and I didn´t get good pictures). You could see the whole city from the hills and they had this really old fountain thing which apparently was some sort of urban legend that if you drank from it, your heart will stay in Granada and you will return there. So, either I will get water poisoning or my heart will stay in Granada and I will return there.

That night we went to a super touristy flameco show in the caves in the hills and all the dancers looked really angry or serious. We drank calimocho and Tinto de Verano (summer wine - it is basically red wine and lemonade). There were other tourists at the show and this one guy kept getting yelled at for videotaping and he kept doing it until the dancers had to stop and yell at him... what a jerk.
