October 7 - Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland

Drove to the most neutral country ever! We stopped at the foot of the swiss alps at Interlaken which was home to a bridge from the Middle Ages. It was wood and had little painting things on it which told the story of Interlaken, only some of them were missing because the bridge caught fire a few years back. We walked across it and checked out some Swiss stuff like chocolate, knives, clocks and watches and stuff.

I didn't buy any (what would I do with a cuckoo clock, really?) so Andrea and I wandered around the little cobblestone streets and found a Chinese restaurant! It was apparently the first one in Switzerland! Their menu wasn't bad either (and you know that I'm not the biggest fan of Chinese food). However, it was closed, so I found a bakery and got a tuna bun in the shape of a fish! After that we drove to the campsite but because the hills were so windy and steep the drove took us a while. We changed money into Swiss francs too, their money is really colorful and festive. Hung out at a bomb shelter that night (as if anyone would bomb the Swiss) because inside was a converted bar (with REALLY expensive drinks).
