OKTOBERFEST!!! Got to the grounds at what we thought was an early time (10am) and stood in line for a beer hall with like a billion people for two hours. The line was ridiculous, everyone was crushed up against random people in leiderhosen and whatnot and then we FINALLY made it to the door, only to realize it was an exit and the security people wouldn't let anyone in so we decided to screw that idea and get beers and bretz'n (pretzels) elsewhere.
In the meantime, I had been crushed by 500 drunken Germans, Italians, Canadians, Americans and Aussies, drunk a litre of beer, been h
it in the head with a beer stein (this girl kind of did the "prost" cheers thing right into my face), gotten stepped on, and Nick got into an altercation with a drunken bitchy German girl when he stepped on her foot and she refused to accept his 
apology. When we were out of the line I ate the biggest pretzel I have ever seen in my life and we got more beers, went to the Englischer Garten (where the Germans really hang out at Oktoberfest) and had more beer outside the Chinese pagoda where a band playued Barvarian music (the oompah stuff).
After pretzels and beer all day we had dinenr at Mcdonalds!!
